The EN 10088-1 defines steels as corrosion resistant, if the steel contains more than 10,5% Cr and max. 1,2% C. Basically, for the corrosion resistant steels the DIN 17440 and EN 10088 part 1 and 3 apply. The mentioned values and mechanical properties in these standards are binding, even if there are different figures in our catalogue.
