For the movement of coarse and fine grain bulk materials segmental chain wheels have successfully proved themselves,
in all branches of industry, due to their robust, functional construction. The chain wheels are used primarily in the
cement, lime, gypsum and stone industries as well as in sand and gravel pits and in the coal industry.
We produce chain wheels in all standard sizes from 400-1500 mm diameter. As the chain wheels are subjected in service
to a high degree of wear and as chain wheel changing can take a great deal of time they have been designed in
segmental form, the segments being bolted onto the chain wheel hub. Fixing elements (screws, nuts etc.) can also be
delivered.
To prevent caking-on of adhesive materials are all steel hubs as well as the wheels with segments in casted execution
with relief slots. All steel hubs are also available in divided execution.
All segments are available in steel execution, on demand with border rims, for existing hubs.
Other executions with different measurements can be delivered according to your drawings.
Hub length has to be agreed between bucket elevator manufacturer and ourselves, if the bore exceeds the
measurement of the hub length.
Features:
- The segments are produced from high wear resistant chilled cast iron thus ensuring considerably longer service life.
- Segments replaceable in a minimum of time as removal of hubs and shafts not necessary.
- Extensive down time is thus minimised.
- Costly stocking of spare parts is minimised.
- We also produce inner toothed and pocket toothed driving wheels with exchangeable gear rims according
to your requirements, with suitable turn round wheels in steel execution.
